India Bay is a free open-world browser game set in India, run by the India Bay team at indiabaygame.com. "We" in this policy means the India Bay team.

The game saves your player (including your name and date of birth), progress, settings and muted players in your browser's local storage. This isn't used for advertising or tracking. Clearing your browser data removes it. Online players can get their progress back by signing in again with Google.
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to raise a grievance with us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
India Bay is a cartoon game for a general audience, but online play lets you chat with strangers. Players under 18 must confirm that a parent or guardian agrees before they play online. If you are a parent and believe your child has given us information without your consent, contact us and we'll delete it.
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and database rules let each player read and change only their own save. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share personal details in chat.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also announce it on the game's start screen.
Billboards in the game show either India Bay's own ads for places in the game, or ads from businesses we work with. Advertisers choose cities, dates and age groups; they never receive any player's personal details. Players under 18 only see child-safe categories such as food, education, sports, games and public service messages, and we never show ads for betting, real-money gaming, alcohol, tobacco, loans, crypto or dating.
